A Safe Tool for Emergency Situations
The SteriPEN Emergency water purifier is a hand-held device designed for creating safe drinking water when it is otherwise inaccessible. The small tool uses a UV lamp to purify a half liter of water in less than a minute. The SteriPEN water purifier is designed to fit snugly within the mouth of commercial bottles, which eliminates the need for additional containers. When running on (4) AA lithium batteries (not included), the Emergency water treatment tool can transform up to 200 half-liter bottles. This is enough treatments to keep a family hydrated during any survival situation. The overall lifespan of the UV lamp is approximately 3,000 treatments.
Easy to Use, Even While Traveling or Camping
To utilize the water purifier, please follow the steps below: - Remove the lamp cover from the UV light. Please try not to dampen the water sensors prior to activation.
- Press the activation button - 1x for 1 liter or 2x for 0.5 liter.(an LED indicator light will flash when the device is ready)
- Submerge and stir - once submerged, the sensors will detect the water, which will start the UV light.

Please Note: For best results, it is highly recommended to use lithium or NiMH batteries with this product. Alkaline and NiCd cells are not recommended.
