TEN-TAP Programming:
TEN-TAP Programming allots for three easy-switch programs, letting you choose the best use of your flashlight. Light up your surroundings from a reasonable 35 lumens to a power-packed 600 lumens. Don't sweat the battery life, runtime on low can last as long as 34 hours! Doubling as a disorienting mode or excellent signal light, the stobe mode can last for 5.5 hours (8 with a 18650 battery). While 2 x CR123A batteries come with purchase of the PolyTac X, 18650s can be used to significantly boost runtime of various modes.

Outstanding "General Purpose" Light.
"The Streamlight Polytac X is probably one of the best 'All Purpose' lights you can get for under $50. The fact that you can use an 18650 or CR-123A's makes it economical and practical. It's lightweight, made of some type of polymer material that's super tough, and throws a bright, well balanced beam. I also have the standard Polytac, and this one seems brighter with a wider throw. Going to buy two more as soon as I can. For me, a light this good, at this price point, is a steal."

"Everything you could like about the polytac but with a lot more power. These are every bit as durable as the original so they are perfect thrown into a vehicle or a boat or kayak etc. perfect for kids as long as they don't try to blind each other."

- If you wish to use 18650 batteries then the charge port is in the battery itself. There is no charge port on the light.
