Great Weapons Light at a very attractive price.

"This light is mounted on my Mossberg 590 A1 shotgun. I took that combination to Thunder Ranch - Combat Shotgun Class. The light worked well in the 3 day class. It works very well. Easy switch to use. Handles recoil of 12 gauge well. And has a good bright beam."

Incredible weapon lighy

"I have used these for years. Through night competition and low light shoots. They have been utterly reliable. If you use them with pressure switches you will be happy as well."

Major Upgrade!

"I've used the 300 lumen original Streamlight TLR-1 for about five years. I keep one handgun with mounted light beside the bed, and carry the other. I knew weapon mounted lights had increased in power like handheld lights, and thought it was time to try a more powerful model. I'll DEFINITELY be buying more! Basically the same size and weight as the original 300 lumen model, but almost three times as bright (and holding them side by side, you clearly see all of that increase in power, with increased coverage area and no dark spots)! Outstanding performance increase!"

Weapon light

"You really can't beat the price for a quality weapon light"

TURN OUT THE LIGHTS.

"OUTSTANDING LIGHT,VERY BRIGHT FOR A SMALL LIGHT."

Good weapons light

"I had this mounted to a Sig 226 . 40 cal. for years and put hundred of rounds through it (on the range) and never had a problem with it. The mount works well and I like the switches on either side. The spot/flood ratio is good too. However, the light is nowhere near 630 lumens."

Better than Surefire

"I'm a former peace officer (San Diego PD) and own one of these weapon lights, mounted on a Glock 22 . 40 caliber 'house gun', at hand for when things go 'bump in the night'. One of the things that is very important for anyone smart enough to be prepared to protect family and self ('When seconds count, the police are only minutes away' - often arriving too late to help) is being certain you can identify who is inside your house, especially at night and perhaps after having just awakened to a noise. A flashlight is a necessity, and having one mounted on your firearm is a good way to go, so that you do not harm anyone who isn't actually threatening you or your family. Surefire was the first company to specialize in flashlights of high quality for law enforcement and civilian use, marketed especially for those of us in law enforcement. Very high priced, but the best available at that time. Streamlight changed all of that. (along with Maglight). Streamlight now makes lights that are every bit as good as Surefire, and some are much better. The Streamlight TLR-1 HL is a case in point. It produces 630 lumens and sells here for $156. 80, as opposed to the comparable Surefire X300, which is only rated for 500 lumens and costs $269. 10. I have not handled this particular Surefire (I do own several), but the Streamlight TLR-1 HL is a very well-made, high quality light, and I seriously doubt that the lower lumen Surefire - at $113 more - is any better constructed than the Streamlight. All the Streamlight flashlights I own are well constructed and several have lasted over twenty years and are still working just fine. If you are in the market for a light to specifically mount on a handgun that has the appropriate rail for doing so, the Streamlight is the way to go. You will not be disappointed, and will have saved some serious money."
