The D40A flashlight is equipped with a CREE XM-L2 LED that can shine 980 lumens at its maximum capacity. Choose from 550 lumen High mode, 220 lumen Mid mode, and 30 lumen Low mode to suit your various lighting needs. With an effective range of 315 meters (about one third of a mile), you will have to put on glasses to see the end of the beam this thing can generate! Now you can see far into that cave you are exploring with your team, or see deep into the woods to find that elusive deer you saw earlier.

Dual Button Switch

Select whichever mode you desire with the dual button mode switch located just under the bezel. While the lower button controls power, the upper button is for different output modes. Slightly press the on and off button and the light enters Turbo mode; at this time, slightly press the upper M button each time for one output mode as it cycles through Turbo, High, Mid and Low. When the light is turned on, press and hold the upper M button to enter Police Strobe; press and hold the lower on/off button for SOS. When the light is turned off, press and hold the upper M button to enter Aviation Signal; press and hold the on/off button for Moon Mode. Double-click the upper M button under any mode (except lock-out) will activate Strobe. When the light is turned on or off, press and hold both buttons for more than 2 seconds to lock out the light, perform the same operation will unlock it. Users can choose any mode desired under different circumstance when needed, which is very convenient and practical.Features:
