"If you need a Searchlight on a budget here it is for the money, buy 2 and still come out ahead. then spend the rest on Lithium AA\'s and have top notch SAR lights avail at a moments notice. Now to find out if i can get a spare battery holder that would make it perfect"

"I purchased one of these a while ago- and while it's ruggedly made and produces 600 lumens it still remains VERY expensive for what you get. I see that the price has come down- but this light should be in the $ 50-60 range at best. I've had no issues with it. Just paid WAY too much for a mid-grade flashlight."
"We bought two SUNWAYMAN M40A lights. The beautiful design in both form and function puts them in a class by themselves. Every aspect – small size, variable lumen power, strength and dependability, and (even in the event of a total power outage) the simplicity of refilling (here-and-now) with perhaps the most common (easy to find anywhere) batteries – makes me confident in highly recommending this flashlight to anyone. Amidst the many choices out there, the M40A is the best we’ve found, hands down. And we like to do our homework. And, if the time comes when you need even more than 500 lumens in a compact, lightweight package, the other lights in our household are a couple of Titanium Innovations HID L35’s (with 3,500 lumens) and remain (in my opinion) the other best value to be found in very seriously bright light, when needed.
