It is all owed to the CREE XM-L2 (U2) LED at the center of the perfectly shaped and polished reflector. Now you can shine a beam as far as 820 feet (250 meters) away. Select from this outstanding 645 lumen High mode, a 200 lumen Medium mode, a 30 lumen Low mode, or even a 645 lumen Strobe mode by simply twisting the Magnetic Control Ring. Now you don't have to get tangled up with memorizing which mode you wanted or were on last and can just take a quick peek at the control ring to physically see what you want.
