Almost figured it. . . . but not really
"You would think that SF would be able to manufacture to a closer tolerance which they missed on this mount. Considering the cost, quite a disappointment. One several Factory Ops Core rails, it is loose to the point of rattling. Other than that, it works but really? The solution is to shim under the mount as it slides into the rail. Use a strip of clear plastic from a package and slide the mount over the plastic into the rail. This will solve the wiggle, quite the noise (rattle) and not appear 'rigged' The shim is re-usable and replaceable at no cost So while a little more involved, the mount will work as it should have been designed and if you have the SF helmet light, this is a reasonable option. Not a deal killer but should not be necessary for a tier 1 product."
