The F27 blue filter from SureFire is designed for use on flashlights with a 1.25-inch-diameter bezel. The purpose of this accessory is to transform a normal white or neutral beam into a smooth blue beam that is perfect for use by hunters. The blue shading enables users with the ability to more easily track wounded game at nighttime. The F27 blue filter is also ideally meant for close-up reading, such as when viewing a map. The reason for this is because the filter helps to preserve night-adapted vision. Finally, this SureFire accessory is incredibly easy to install and even features a flip-up design for instant access to the white beam, when desired.
