This is the light I grab if I suspect trouble is on the way
"Ever been in a real life emergency where your heart is pumping so hard it beats on your chest? Your priorities suddenly change. From experience my fine motor skills almost disappear. All the wonderful features on my other lights become almost impossible to use. Put on heavy winter gloves, run 100 yards as fast as you can, and try and use the controls of a fancy light. . . . and get light on target in under a second. This light provides that level of performance. It is very pricey, but when your life is at stake it seems a great deal for the feeling of confidence it gives you. So in summary. . . . . only one light level, Only one switch (tail). Not fancy and multi function. It only does one thing: provide fumble free bright lite even if you are scared and your hands are shaking. It is 1 star for normal low stress use, but 5 star if the proverbial manure is hitting the fan. Yes, I know that many multi-function lights can be used in a real life duty situation; but that requires a lot of continual training. This one is simply there, with minimal training."
