"Discovered that I could cycle thru the 5 settings of the XP-G (hi, med, low, strobe & sos) by twisting the base cap off/on. On low, guessing I was getting three hours of runtime. Recently, purchased the JETBeam JL160 RCR123A rechargeable batteries and found that only the hi, med and low settings work. Then after a few uses the lamp stopped working. Going to order another one of these P60 Style 5-Mode XP-G (R5) lamps to try out with the rechargeable batteries again. See what happens and report my results."

- I ordered the SZX-5-MODE-LED-UPOGRADE-R5 for my Surefire 6Z and it doesn’t operate in 5 modes only 1. I tried it in 2 different Sure-fire lights and still the same thing, only the solid beam, no flash, SOS, or low beam. Order# 2230420 on Nov 9, 2024

- Is the light you are putting it in, one of the lights that this upgrade is compatible with? Surefire 3P, 3R, 6, 6P, 6PD, 6PL, 6R, 6Z, 7Z, 9P, 9Z, C2, C3, D2, D3, G2, G2L, G2Z, G3, G3L, GZ2, M2, Z2, Z3 You didn't tell us which lights you were trying to use them in.
