You have to unplug unit after every charge - versitle but badly flawed
"Two things I wish I knew before I bought: 1) You have to unplug this charger at the wall socket every time you charge one or more batteries before you can charge another battery. 2) This charger is very large - approximately 9' x 4' and 2 1/2' tall. The unplugging requirement ruined this product for us. I suppose if you are using it on a workbench with easy to reach electric socket, or charge a couple batteries and put it away every time, unplugging might be OK, but we keep our charger in the kitchen and the socket is behind the microwave - so very inconvenient. Other places we might keep a charger handy but out of sight have even less convenient wall sockets. We've been using AA and AAA rechargeable batteries for > 10 years so we seem to always have something to recharge. When I added C and 9V I bought this charger expecting it to replace our aging AA / AAA charger. Rather than being more convenient and flexible it is just aggravating to use. This charger could have been a good product if they had simply put a reset button on the charger unit itself or a switch on the power cord near the unit. With need to unplug at wall socket after every charge, I regret purchasing this charger in spite of its versatility. Not worth sending back and I'm too cheap to replace it so it will aggravate us for years to come."
