TerraLux LED
"This is great and worth its money, while it\'s focused it has a throwing distance of over 500 feet, works very well, it emits white light vs. the stock incandescents yellow light. long battery life, it\'s very easy to swap w/the old bulb, then the old bulb can be stored in the tailcap as a spare The only con is that the LED gets very warm (but not hot) after being on for more than 10 minutes. but no major issues. Overall it is a great light upgrade and worth the money because it\'s makes your Maglite the beast it should be again. :D"

Good, but not great
"Purchased the TLE-6EXB for my 3D cell maglite. It definitely puts out a brighter and whiter light than before. I have an appr. 80 Lumen flashlight I compared to and this upgrade is brighter and whiter, but IMO not 40% brighter, so the 140 lumen spec might be optimistic. Overall I was mildly impressed, but its still a decent deal if the batteries last longer than before."

Good upgrade
"Bright, still works perfectly 12 years later. Increases the run time of the 2 D maglite by hours."

Excellent upgrade!
"I was a little hesitant but I picked up this LED upgrade anyway for my old and forgotten Maglite 2C cell flashlight, inserted it and wow! The new light intensity from the same power is truly surprising! For the cost, this is an excellent upgrade for the already solid Maglite flashlight you already own. Worth every penny in my opinion."

great upgrade
"Bought mine about a year ago from here. We use it in a 3D Maglite that lives under our sink, so it gets a lot of brief use. It puts out great light, in a dark room it is comparable to my Olight T10, so about 180 lumens. When it is on more than 2-3 minutes it does put out a pulse of light every 30-60 seconds which can be annoying."

MAGNUMLITE not Maglite
"I like alot of people forgot about the Maglites I have since all the new bright LED flashlights came out. Then i bought one of these updates for fun and now I\'m hooked and my Camo 3-D Maglite rides shotgun again as Nite-sun and anti-theft device it was intended to be. You can\'t buy a $20 light that is tough as a brick and bright as a police spotlight but for 20 bucks you can get all that in your Maglite and get it all back in battery savings"

BEST MAG UPGRADE TO DATE
"For the money, this is about the best upgrade, easy to install, easy to remove (though I don\'t know why you\'ld want to), brilliant white light, 140-150 lumens. Can be focused to narrow beam. Long battery life. Best compromise of power o batt life you can get."

Perfect
"Easy to replace old incandescent style bulb and the flashlight is no longer using lots of batteries"

Superb value
"The bulb on my Maglite was so dim, I thought the batteries were dying. I could barely discern a fence line 20m away. On the exact same set of batteries, with this LED bulb, I can clearly identify small critters 150m away."

New life for old Maglite
"I wasn't happy with the output of my old 2-D Maglite when the batteries started to get low but this LED bulb sure gave it new life. I had an old version so it took a few minutes with a Dremel bit to enlarge the hole to fit but it dropped in and lit up. This evening I was able to spot my black cat 100 yards away where the old bulb (same batteries) would just make reflectors sorta glow at that range. Great focus, really white light. Wonderful upgrade."
