"Appears to be pretty close to same brightness as incan bulb give or take a few lumen. Nice big pattern with some spill. Three brightness levels is very useful. L-o-n-g runtime, have not yet run battery down on an emergency call."
"The upgrade works great and gives as much white light as the incandescent light. Lube the \'O\' ring before assembly, and try on new replacement. Twice the run time with multi settings at the cost of two incandescent bulbs that run at one setting."
"I was kind of tired of it. I bought the flashlight in 2005, so it is 10 years old. First the battery went out, I bought a new battery from Battery Junction and it still didn't seem to have an impressive amount of light. I was shopping for a new flashlight and decided to give this LED conversion a try. I am glad I did. On the brightest setting it is very bright with a highly concentrated beam in the center of a wider less intense beam. The concentrated part of the beam is about one foot in diameter at about 50 feet out. On the lowest setting it provides just enough light to light up a path at light, or use in a vehicle. I have not really used the medium setting, but it is just what you would expect, half way between bright and low. Installation was simple. I was hesitant about the 3 modes function and if it would work in an older light. No problems, it converts it to 3 mode just by installing it."
"Works very well. Just as bright as stock bulb, but very white light. Very good tight beam. Had to install 180degrees off from instructions."
"OK this is the second led upgrade I have purchased. The first for the stinger ultra. This upgrade was very easy to install and it works very well with nice bright white light output. The 3 modes work well and they are easy to use. I really like this upgrade except that when you are using it up close it seems to have a dark spot in the center, however that goes away as you pull back. It lights up my yard well and I would recommend this led upgrade."
"This bulb is great! It is every bit as bright as the incandescent with longer life and more durability. The old bulbs would break if the light was hot and was dropped or struck against an object. This keeps going and the beam is still adjustable. The multimode may not be best for LEO but it will always come on in high and only cycles to med and low if you quickly turn on and off again."
