The LightStar series from TerraLUX is a diverse and exciting line that offers everything you want from a light you'll use every day, but with build standards and outputs that you might not expect from an AA powered light. The LightStar 300 is one of the coolest lights that we carry here at Battery Junction. You're getting a light powered by two convenient, easily purchasable AA batteries, that still pumps out 300 lumens of light and 24 hours of continuous use on Low mode.
Good for Walking the Dog but Tough Enough for Emergency Use
AA lights are ideal for using around the house because everyone's comfortable with AAs. This light is going to be used constantly by the wife, kids, grandma and grandpa - keep it simple, accessible, and familiar (and save the more extravagant torches for yourself). That doesn't mean you want some cheap $5 light from down the street though. For the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find such a sturdy, well made, and bright AA flashlight as the LightStar 300. The slightly textured reflector produces a beam pattern that is intentionally short range - super bright, in a large area, but without a long throw, making it the perfect choice for technicians and mechanics who need proper illumination on their entire work area.
The LightStar 300 offers the perfect beam pattern for working on the job or on your home and is constructed with the perfect materials to have a light that will last you a lifetime. Don't worry about protecting your light from water or debris, these things come with the territory for hard-working men and women, and you need a light that can keep up. The LightStar 300's housing is made of aircraft grade aluminum and is O-ring sealed for maximum protection from the elements. The simple and intuitive interface allows for single-handed operation - the full press tail-switch for On/Off functionality and half-press to switch between Low and High mode. With 24 hours of runtime on the 35-lumen low mode, you won't have to be constantly replacing batteries. 24 hours of continuous use is a lot of days at work, and a lot of nights walking the dog before you even have to think about replacing the batteries, and when you do need to replace the batteries the LightStar 300's beam will slowly blink in order to let you know, so you can stay prepared. This package includes a detachable pocket clip, super comfortable lanyard, and two AA batteries so you'll be good to go right out of the box! Plus an optional holster is available in Nylon and Leather giving you more options to carry the LightStar 300 than you'll know what to do with.
