The TDR-2 is tested up to 1.5 meters of impact resistance so you won't have to worry about dropping it on hard concrete at the job sight, and is IPX-8 rated meaning it can be fully submersed in up to two meters of water. The last thing you want to worry about in a high pressure situation is if your flashlight will be working properly, and with the TDR-2 you won't need to. The TDR-2 is bright with 500 lumens of light on high mode and 215 hours of runtime on low mode. You often don't find such impressive outputs and particularly such long run times from rechargeable lights. In general rechargeable lights don't tend to have the same high end specs as their disposable battery counterparts, but you won't have to sacrifice a thing with the TDR-2.
