"I tried to put this on my wildland firefighter helmet and I will have to find a rubber strap as the included strap will not secure it to the helmet. Very comfortable for using with a regular hat though and the light is bright and seems well built. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with the strap I need."

"This light has been used quite extensively from last December 2014 until now. The light output started to flutter. I thought it was dead batteries. Installed fresh batteries and it would not work unless you stood on one foot, turned around and gave it a good ole' fashioned butt whoppin. After giving it several strong taps on the ground, it started to work. After about 15 or 20 steps, it then stopped again. This is now its normal procedure to get it to work. Unreliable. The casing itself is of excellent quality and very rugged, but none of this matters if the internals no longer work. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this light to anyone."
