"I think that aluminum would have been as good as titanium, and at a lower cost, however I like to carry a light weight flashlight for backpacking, and this one works nicely. It doesn't have the fancy features like some flashlights such as strobe or SOS, but it has the basic flashlight function in 3 levels, which is all that I need."
"Nothing wrong"
"This is a wonderful light; just what I was looking for. However, I hope it lasts longer than the last one I bought. After less than a year, it just died. I replaced it with an aluminum version after getting no warranty satisfaction - not even a discount to replace the failed item. Well, after a year with the aluminum one, I decided to bite the bullet and try the Ti version again. The Ti is beautiful and won't scratch up like the aluminum version. Just hope it lasts. . ."
"shipping was fast"
"After 2 1/2 years with one of the black versions of this model, and after having given three more of the black ones as gifts, I had to treat myself to one of these polished TI gems. Yes, it's been noted that the threads are a bit rough, but it is absolutely gorgeous! Just as with my original black IlluminaTi, I can't find a quality-related complaint and have never yet experienced a performance-related issue. I've looked at the other polished TI single AAA lights, but none compares in overall appeal or performance with this one!"
"I have owned this flashlight for more than 2 years. Lost the first one and reordered the same model. I am not concerned about how easy to use, thread issues, etc. It just needs to work every time!! I have never had a failure. I rolled a truck in the middle of a desert and needed to find the cell phone. The squeeze light that I had at the time did not have sufficient light. I swore I would not be without a dependable light again. This one fits that requirement. As soon as I received the new one, I added silicone grease to the threads and forgot about it. It just works."
"It's slightly longer than the Fenix E99Ti and I prefer the look of the Fenix, but the Titanium Innocations IlluminaTI is noticeably brighter, has longer runtime, and can swallow a 10440, at least on low and medium. I really covet the MBI HF-R, but they are more than twice the price--if you can find one at all. And the MBI won't run on an alkaline or NiMH."
"I love this little light for it's design, and quality! It really surprised me so I promptly ordered two more!"
"This is my favorite EDC light. I was carrying a Preon penlight for quite a while, and while it was a great light it was also a little large for my taste. This light is the perfect size. I just drop it in my pocket and forget about it until it is needed. It uses a very common battery, and is insanely bright for it's size. Perfect! I also love the look of the light."
