"This light is incredible. At only about 3 pounds it can be easily carried for long walks, and the brightness is incredible. The reflector is well designed with a good mix of usable flood around and distance with a bright middle spot. The LED lights on the handle are great when you don\'t need the blinding HID power. I get ~105minutes of runtime. Only one small complaint and that is the charge time - ~20hours for a full charge from empty."
"I have run a building inspection business for more than 30years and have tried at least 25 different brands of search lights and none of them come close to the brightness of the L35 which allows me to carry out inspections with confidence for my customers and also allows me to take photos in roofs and under floors in pitch black situations with no flash on the camera and still produce excellent photos at a distance of 6 metres and sometimes more. "The L35 is probably the best value currently available for something so compact yet can produce 3,500 lumens with 100+ minutes of continuous run time. It\'s rugged, easy to use and very functional. It\'s an ideal search/spot/outdoor light where you need lots of light. Highly recommended!"
"Very well designed & built. I like the extra smaller light built in. The optional diffuser helps with more flood & less throw. The removable, built in battery pack is nice. Takes awhile to fully charge up, so having a charged spare is handy."
"Bright as expected, power options lacking. The battery charges via timed-cycle (and it's LONG), instead of actual capacity. You cannot operate the lamp with external power either AC or DC. You are stuck with the battery. I can understand not wanting to provide a high-current swithing-type AC adapter (like 3-amps continuous), but there's no excuse not to be able to power this lamp with 12VDC. It is done by the millions everyday on planet Earth with car headlamps."

Pound-for-pound, dollar-per-lumen, in the field (extra) rechargeable batteries ready to put in (here-and-now) when needed, are the primary reasons we bought this light.
