This hard plastic briefcase features a strong silicone rubber seal that creates a watertight suction to keep your equipment protected and even safe from salt water. The UK 309 DryBox can also be used to maintain biological specimens and shells within the compartment, due to the tight closure. This injection-molded waterproof case is also crushproof, as it is constructed from ABS materials, and can therefore withstand the rough environment that scientists and adventurers typically seek out. In fact, the rectangular briefcase can withstand drops from seven feet up! For those working in or near water, the UK 309 DryBox is the perfect choice as this equipment case is rated IP67 and can therefore be submerged to depths over three feet.
Optional Accessories
This injection-molded waterproof case is available for sale in three colors (black, blue, and yellow) and with or without pluck foam inserts that can be adjusted by you to accommodate different-sized tools. Customizable foam lining lets you adjust the internal padding that surrounds your equipment, thus preventing smaller items from moving around during travel. If you are using the UK 309 DryBox to carry smaller, more expensive items, we recommend utilizing the foam inserts for added protection. This injection-molded waterproof case is also sold with an optional panel ring for inserting an instrument panel with ease. Please note that only the black storage case is available with the panel ring kit.
