Brand You can Trust

"Ultrafire gives good results and is a Brand that can be trusted"

Jose S. (5/5)

Works as advertised and expected!

"So far so good! I’ll be able to comment further after the current charge is used up and it goes back on the recharger. Thanks!"

La (5/5)

great batteries

"I use these in several lights with great results"

Don (5/5)

TK15

"Just an FYI: This cell fit into my Fenix TK15 with no modifications to the wrapper. I recommend this cell."

James (5/5)

Affordable

"These batteries work for my needs. Been using them for years. Very affordable compared to other brands."

Manny (5/5)

Portable power plants

"These are excellent batteries I use them in my fenix TA-21 with only 1 modification to make them fit better. I remove the top 1/2 inch of outer label at the positive tip end to make it slide in better. It\'s not the flashlight or the batteries fault it\'s where the battery is seamed and the label adds just a cpl thousanths of an inch in the one spot to make the battery too tight to remove easily. These are quality LI-ion\'s and worth every penny to have the power these batteries store"

Vinnie (5/5)

Batteries

"I've been using these batteries for years, I think ( at least for me these batteries last about five years). I have some batteries that I'm still using and holding a charge dated 07-06-2016."

David (5/5)

no where close to 3000 mah

"When I got mine tested them got 900 mah out of one of the 2 I bought was curious on if they would give me the 3000 mah they were on backorder as well the second one I test came back with only 700 mah quite a trash battery avoid it. . used a opus 3400 and a xtar dragon to double check my results. . gave them 4 hours of resting time between charge and discharge cycles to let them settle. Even did it at 500 mah charge rate."

Josh (1/5)

great buy

"I got a pair of these batteries to go in an Olight M30 and they keep my Olight bright and working for a really long time. I use my light about 15-20 hours a week (not consecutive hours) and with a full charge they last me a weeks time."

Kerry (4/5)

Not a fan, won't buy again

"I bought 4 of these. One never took/held a charge (using a Opus and Nitecore charger). The other only fit in some of my 18650 flashlights, and were tight fits in battery backup cases I have. Maybe I got anomaly, but the 15-20 Nitecore, Olight, EBL, and other brand batteries, these are the only to fail right off the bat."

Q&A

Does this originally com with a recharger pod?
I am not sure what you mean by pod but this item is being sold as individual batteries and does not come with any sort of charging devices.
Thank you for answering all my questions so far! One more - do you have a charger or method that can indicate a soon-to-fail battery? I was guessing that perhaps a charger that indicated battery capacity when "fully charged" could do that by showing that the battery capacity had dropped a lot from its initial rating...
We carry a brand of products called ZTS which can test a battery under a load. A battery can read fully charged on a charger but when put under a load it will bottom out and cannot hold the charge. A ZTS should be able to tell you if the battery can still function under a load. Here is a link to that item. https://www.batteryjunction.com/catalog/product/view/id/1664/s/zts-mbt-1/category/218/ To go further than that you would need a battery analyzer which can be an expensive piece of equipment. https://www.batteryjunction.com/west-mountain-cba-v
Hi, I have a tactical flashlight from Ultrafire (800 lumen on highest setting) that came with these batteries. Recently, after the flashlight's battery is fully charged, it might be on for about 15 minutes and then start flickering a bit, even going to a much dimmer mode before returning to full output when I shake the flashlight or turn it off/on again. I haven't been able to pinpoint this between a faulty battery vs. a faulty flashlight vs. faulty charger even, but just wanted to ask if this behavior could possibly be due to a bad battery? I am suspecting the protection circuit might be kicking in prematurely, or even doing what it is supposed to do for a failing underlying battery. My second question is if you have a charger that will tell me that it has diminished charge capacity to further help pinpoint that the battery might be going bad.
It sounds like it might be the battery failing. I am unsure how long you have had the light but this is something that can happen when the battery needs to be replaced.
