- Have a First Alert BRK 7010B AC Powered Photoelectric Smoke Alarm. 2 options recommended were Ultralife U9VL-J or U9VL-J-P, but I see there is a 10 yr Lithium Ion battery U9VLJPX. Will this work with BRK 701B First Alert Smoke Alarm? Thank you
- The batteries have a 10 year shelf life and this does not mean they will last 10 years in the smoke detector. They will last longer than an alkaline battery but it is a shelf life. The contractor pack contains very similar batteries. The only difference is that some have a metal jacket and some have a plastic. The battery itself is the same.

- Shipping depends on distance. Lithium batteries cannot be rushed due to federal regulations so they can take anywhere from a few days to over a week.

- You should be able to use these batteries. Please note though that they have a ten year shelf life and this does not mean that they will last ten years in the device. Especially if it is in an area where it goes off often.
