The Wayfinder Lighter therefore eliminates the need for multiple pieces of survival gear, which is key when space is limited and you have to carry everything in your pack. This fire starter generates a windproof flame that has been tested to withstand winds up to 80 miles per hour! The UST Lighter even works at altitudes up to 8000 ft. Please note that the compass may not work at these high altitudes. The UST Wayfinder Lighter is sold without fuel and must be filled prior to use out in the field. This handy 2-in-1 fire starter/compass is perfect for those adventurers who like to pack light.
