Egghead Headlamp
"I first purchased an egghead headlamp for hiking the Appalachian Trail. . . the egghead has a very broad beam of light and is fairly lite-weight. My first egghead headlamp lasted a couple of years (I also purchased several eggheads for family members). I like the way the strap is tight and easy to adjust on my head, I like the options for lighting, beams and red-lights. I like the option of shutting off the light and securing it so it will not turn on inside a backpack. Changing the batteries is easy although it is hard to open the top latch to access the battery compartment. However, all of those headlamps quit. . . even after changing out batteries, the headlamps were done! I can't find a way to check the bulb. I wish I could still use the now defunct headlamps! Hope my new egghead holds out longer."
