Instructions
There are several methods in using a SAM splint, but here are some basic versions. First, you can use the double layered wrist split for an injured wrist bt shaping the splint in a longitudinal C-curve, then wrapping it around a wrist and forearm and using the cohesive tape to strap it shut. Another method is to use sugar arm tong splint, where the splint is guided along the top of the forearm, around the elbow, and back down the hand where the excess material is rolled up, fastened shut by the cohesive bandage.
