"Wanted something for my kids life vests when out fishing at night. Unit is small (about the size of the old AAA mag lights). Comes with the lanyard shown in the photo as well as Velcro for attaching to items. For mine I threaded the vest material through the loops on the body of the light. So now if the worst should happen, the kids only have to rotate the head of the light and it's on. This makes it 100% easier to locate at night, instead of searching, yelling, trying to hear over waves, etc. I have enough to keep on everybody's vest, cheap insurance and makes it easier to locate. There not super bright, but for the cost, I couldn't imagine not having them. Plus the kids like playing with them in the pool too. . . ."
