"Batteries and charger are as described, function as expected, I had to call to get tracking for my order after a week (could have been a tech glitch), the person I talked to was pleasant and helpful, I WILL purchase from Battery Junction again"
"High capacity. Maintains nominal voltage through most of life. Low self-discharge. Needs special charger. Only moderate maximum discharge rate (too high and it shuts down). As long as you don't mind the special charger and don't have very high discharge, this is a very good product."
"These are specifically marketed as a good battery for high drain devices which will allow a consistent runtime throughout the duration of the battery life since it can sustain 1. 5V throughout its entire run time. However, they neglect to tell you that the self regulating discharge circuit in the battery will automatically cut the discharge rate if you sustain a consistent draw of any worth fir any amount of time. It began step down at approximately 5 sec. Simply put, battery lowers its output in high discharge device rendering the 1. 5V consistency irrelevant. These performed poorly and are far inferior to eneloop style batteries despite the fact the eneloops have a lower V output. Step down in eneloops did not occur until approximately 30sec and then it was gradual while the xstar was drastic and sudden. Don't waste you money, avoid these overpriced pieces of junk."
"Battery does not perform as claimed and is vastly inferior to eneloops I typically use. Battery cannot sustain a reasonable draw for more that a few seconds and it steps itself down making it useless for the high draw applications or any application really besides things like remotes. Xstar dropped the ball on this one."
