Streamlight has finally come up with a high performance flashlight that is perfect for all of you needs. The Streamlight Strion DS HPL still offers the innovative dual switch technology that allows you to easily turn on your light, as well as, the high lumen output that the Strion DS HL flashlight provides. The new feature that makes this flashlight stand out is the high performing beam throw and candela output. This light doubles the maximum beam throw of the other lights in this series reaching an impressive 420 meters. The maximum candelas is increased to 44,000 instead of 12,000 that previous flashlights in this series puts out. These features are made possible by the deep-dish parabolic reflector that provides a long-range beam.

Furthermore, this flashlight comes with a myriad of optional accessories. Every light comes with a rechargeable Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery. It has a fast recharge time of only three hours and is guaranteed up to 1,000 charge cycles. An additional accessory is the Clamp style charger. The charger comes with a built in protection circuit that prevents overcharging and has a convenient LED charging indicator light to show your battery's progress.

Streamlight's Strion DS HPL is IPX4 water resistant and 2 meter impact resistance tested. The durable body is made of anodized machined aircraft aluminum with a polycarbonate lens. Stronger, brighter, and a top performer in the Strion flashlight series.
