"I have several of these in various materials and finishes, they are all great. I just wanted to point out that the ""Silver"" and ""Gray"" versions are very special, they are made of titanium. The standard material is aluminum, which is also good, and lighter weight."
"I'm on my second Olight Baton flashlight and that is only becase the keep comin up with higher lumens. My original that still work perfectly is now my son's who carries his daily as I do. I have had an Olight Baton in my pocket every day for at least four years. It is by far the best EDC I've purchased. I a big flashlight guy and I own or have gifted over 30 flashlights. Not every light is right for every condition. I have dropped my Baton light a hundred times at least, in snow, water, asphalt and on concrete. It shows the wear and tear on the edges, but it has not failed once. I can a standard non-rechargeable CR123 in my bag but have never had to use it. If you are conservative with your power use (like a phone) it will get you through anything. I throw it on the laptop to charge at the desk or the car with the an available post, even hotel USB ports next to beds. It always charges, does it relatively fast. You will never catch me out and about with this light in my pocket, ever!"
"Does not charge, does not work. I have bought the baton that just takes rechargeable batteries first and it still works. I spent extra money on a wall charger and have 5 rechargeable batteries and a flashlight that doesn’t work. I will gladly send it back for repair or replacement if offered."

"Very good for people who want a small light they can carry easily in their pocket. The one downside is that the switch gets pressed easily if you carry it in your pocket. You can lock it but it unlocks if the button is held down continuously for one second, which can easily happen in your pocket. (By comparison the Fitorch ER20 is slightly bigger and not quite as bright but it will not unlock unless the button is pressed 3 times in a row, which makes it much less likely to turn on in your pocket. )"

"This is my 3rd Olight Baton series they are compact and easy to handle and manage. This 3rd Baton series is more versatile to handle and it has it's own charging carrier, in which you can carry everywhere you go. If you ran out of charge on your flashlight you can just return it on its charging case and walla your Baton 3 is getting more juice and you don't have to run for an outlet or usb cord to charge the battery. I like this very much cause I travel a lot and needs a compact flashlight like the Baton series as it is very bright and easy to handle as well. So If ever you need a great edc this is a must for people who is always on the road or anywhere you go."
"to be honest I hate bad reviews so I don't write them. But the battery that came in my Baton 3 was very weak and wont hold a charge _ I had to replace it. and now I don't thing the charging - Premium charger always shows green lite even when I put a run down light in it. I don't think it's charging anything. with that being said I have to say I have the Baton 1 & Baton 2 and have been very happy with both. So I don/t know what happened with this one."
