Do they ever really need charging?
"I've had mine for almost a year. That's what I've asked myself two or three times. They get occasional use in a 1969 vintage multi-band radio. It was designed to run on either 4 standard D batteries or 5 AA NiCads, typical of those days. Every time I have thought they might be do for a charge, my high capacity NiCad/NiMH charger brought them to full power in less than 3 minutes! In other words, they really didn't need it. So, heck with it! I'm not going to charge them again unless I actually hear the radio die. Incredible batteries. ."
