Energizer L91 AA 1.5V Ultimate Lithium Battery

Long Lasting

The Energizer L91 AA Ultimate Lithium Battery stands atop the AA market when it comes to both efficiency and reliability. These sophisticated cells boast an impressive capacity of 3000 mAh and can produce a staggering 3 Amps of continuous current. The L91s seem almost everlasting, able to last up to 8 times longer than your standard alkaline battery, making them perfect for any number of electronics including flashlights, digital cameras, remote controls, hand-held gaming systems, and much more.

Unique Chemistry

The L91 features a specialized Lithium Iron-Disulfide chemistry (LiFeS2) that gives it not only superior power compared to average primary batteries, but incredible reliability, able to perform extreme high and low temperatures. A higher operating current and flatter discharge curve allows the cell to perform better for longer periods of time than ordinary alkaline batteries and is even notably better to other types of Lithium cells. The battery's Lithium chemistry is also remarkably safe, with superior leak resistance and making unstable chemicals like lead and mercury obsolete.

Awesome product
In my independent testing, these batteries outperform all other AA competitors. When operating in sub-zero temperatures, they are a must.

Love the Lithium
Love these batteries. Use them in electronic devices where i don't have to change out the batteries often. And i no longer have to worry about Alkaline leakage (which recently happened to my mini lantern flashlight). -M.

Ultimate Battery Tech - for now
Once upon a time, in the late 80's early 90's, engineers in one of my departments were responsible to evaluate the early version of Energizer's Lithium Iron DiSulfide AA battery for consumer use in our gear. Very impressed, but, especially back then, too expensive to consider. However the evaluation testing results were beneficial. Leftover batteries made their way into drawers here and there, one was mine. It's now nearing the end of 2017, and just recently I found another box of four. I had found two of these still alive and well, making my just-in-case, emergency-in-the-drawer Mini Maglite's shine just fine. So one of the new (old) one's is powering a new LED flashlight right now, too. Think of it... an early version demonstrating at least 25 years of shelf life, delivering power as if new. (Haven't done a deliberate run-time test, but their "still going".) Further, the Lithium Iron DiSulfide cells provide useful output down to -40F. One of my camping buddies just went out this winter to test his new winter gear. He was surprised that his cell phone battery dropped half its charge in one call at 15F, but that's what Lithium Ion's do, and don't try to charge them cold, either! (Keep that cell phone next to your body to keep it warm for an emergency call.) The Energizer Ultimate L91 AA and their AAA and 9v, represent perhaps the ultimate in battery tech for low temp use and shelf life, as well as delivering both high capacity and output current.
ProsLong experience and expertise in the manufacture of these cells. Demonstrated good low temperature performance Demonstrated extremely long shelf life Demonstrated high capacity and output current
ConsNon-rechargeable technology Premium in cost (but clearly worth it)
