Q&A

So these say they are CR18650 batteries...but I was surprised to find them larger than the 18650 batteries I'm replacing. These are 70mm long or close to it, not the expected 65mm. I was about to say you had them listed wrong, but the package itself actually says 18650 battery in finer print down on the corner. What is up with that? How can they be 18650 batteries yet be longer then 65mm?

I'm purchasing the Nitecore NL 1836HP (18650 3600 mAh) for my Klarus XT11GT I purchased from Batt Junction a couple years ago. The OE battery wouldn't hold a charge and I'd get a blinking yellow light on the Klarus. Question: should I let the new battery drain down in-between uses or should I keep it fully charged ? I carry it as an EMT but really only have it on occasionally. Thoughts appreciated.
Lithium-ion batteries hold a charge very well. I am not sure what you mean by occasionally but we would recommend charging it about every 6 months to keep the chemistry in good shape.
